What we found was a well laid out caravan park in a great rural setting with sites nestled into the trees and shrubs and the toilet block and camp kitchen in very convenient locations.

We are relative newcomers to caravanning and we have been to a number of good caravan parks in the south and mid west of WA, but we were genuinely impressed that the sites were flat and level, separated from each other by patches of bushland and scrub in a tranquil environment.  I would have no hesitation in recommending Gracetown Caravan Park to anyone who is looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat, 10 minutes from Margaret River, 5 minutes from Gracetown Beach and very close to the vineyards, Cheese Factory, cafes and other attractions.  Well Done and we will be back!

We’re glad Raymond enjoyed his stay with us and hope to see him again.

We stayed at Gracetown Caravan Park, which at first looks run down. But it is set in natural bush setting with large sites and is very peaceful, with kangaroos wandering around and blackboy trees.

Facilities here were good and clean. Compared to Margaret River Caravan parks which were crowded and like cement jungles with bungalows all closely placed, this was a haven.

Central to all the touristy things, wineries, restaurants, all just down the road. This camp is very popular with surfies as it is close to the surf beach. We took a “Bush Tucker” tour, which apart from the name, was very good and took us to wineries, brewries, lunch included, left at 10am and returned 5.00pm all for $75 senior price.

Would recommend both caravan park and tour.

Not right on the beach, but pretty close.

This summer they introduced an outdoor movie screen plus a bouncy castle for the children in the afternoons. The kids just loved it.

I really liked their ‘quiet time’ after 10pm, which meant everyone could get a decent night sleep.

I also loved the natural bush setting and seeing the kangaroos and possums in their own habitat. I will definitely stay again!!
